	He was in World War II veteran. He was a nose gunner on a B-24 airplane when they were shot down on 6/24/1944 during World War II. He parachuted into occupied France where he was captured by the Germans and taken to a POW camp in Germany where he stayed for about 10 months until the end of the War. He was liberated on 4/26/1945. He was in the 8th Air Force.

	He was married to Audri "Marie" Morton on 7/6/1980 and later divorced.
